Annual eye exams are important for everyone, but if you already have corrected vision or a recurring eye condition, you need these evaluations to prevent complications and keep your prescription up-to-date. At Eye 1st Vision Center, our eye and vision exams include evaluations of the following:
Your vision and eye health will depend on the type, prescription and size of your contact lens. We are committed to getting everything right the first time. Save time and money by getting your contact lens exam during your standard eye exam, or schedule a separate appointment.
Your contact lens exam will include:
After we understand your unique refractive errors, lifestyle factors and eye shape, we can start the fitting process. This may include additional exams to measure your corneal curvature, iris or pupil.
LASIK surgery is a life-changing innovation that uses laser technology to remove part of your cornea and correct visual distortion. Schedule a free evaluation to see if you're a good candidate for LASIK. Dr. George Shida will measure your cornea thickness, evaluate your vision and discuss your options with you. If you meet the criteria, he will refer you to a local LASIK surgery center and take care of all your pre-op and post-op optometry needs too.
We offer eye exams for children too, because eye health should be a lifelong priority for every member of your family. Schedule an appointment with our optometrist to make sure your child's vision and eye health are on the right track. We welcome our youngest patients with warm smiles and gentle but comprehensive eye exams, which allow us to determine their visual acuity and spot underlying problems.
