The Back to School Eye Glasses Exam

Your eye exam will be a typical assessment that any patient receives when they come to us for vision correction. Prescription of the proper type and shape of lens needed to correct your vision to as near 20/20 vision as possible requires an examination. Our examinations include:

  • An extensive look inside of the eyeball (after dilation) to determine the health of the eye and to screen for any injuries to or detachment of the retinas, diabetic changes such as retinopathy, and we also check for macular degeneration.
  • Screening for glaucoma by performing a check of the pressure of the fluid inside the eye. Don't worry, the test is painless.
  • Determination of refractive errors, astigmatism, hyperopia or myopia.

Choosing the Perfect Frames to Fit Your Unique Style

When choosing your frames, you'll want to consider several factors. Most importantly, choose the frames that make you feel like your best you! Your style - whether you want to look bold, unique, sporty, or even like a smarty-pants, Eye 1st Vision Center has the frames to fill out your look. Here are some of the things for you to consider:

  • The shape of your face and the shape of the frame that compliments it the best.
  • Your favorite color, the color you wear the most, or you can choose neutral colors, which will go with anything.
  • If you play sports, then you may need specially made glasses for competition.
